This guide walks you through setting up a basic Email Mailbox in the ISPConfig control panel for your Noiz shared hosting account. It’s a simple way to get your email started.
Prerequisites
- A Noiz shared hosting account with ISPConfig access.
- Your login credentials (sent in your welcome email).
- A domain already added to your account (see How to add a domain).
Step 1: Log in to ISPConfig
- Choose your preferred login method:

- Once logged in, ensure you’re in the client view to manage your services.

Step 2: Create the Email Mailbox
- From the ISPConfig dashboard, click Email in the menu.
- Select Email Mailbox from the options.
- Click Add new Mailbox.
- Enter the details:
- Domain: Select your domain (e.g., yourdomain.co.za) from the list.
- Email: Type your new email address (e.g., info@yourdomain.co.za).
- Password: Set a strong password or use the auto-generate option.
- Quota: Set a mailbox size (e.g., 500 MB) or leave as default.
- Click Save to create the mailbox.
